Press and hold the power button on top of the camera for 3 seconds. When you hear a beep and the indicator light illuminates, the camera is on. Boot takes approximately 1 minute.

Search "MatchMate" in Huawei AppGallery, Tencent App Store, or Google Play. Or scan the official Android QR code.

Search "MatchMate" in the App Store. Or scan the official iOS QR code.
3.3 Permissions
Grant these permissions on first launch:
Bluetooth — to search and connect to the camera
Network (Wi-Fi / Cellular) — for streaming and cloud features
4Account Registration & Login
4.1 Register
1Open the app, go to login page
2Switch to "Register"
3Enter phone number and password
4Request and enter SMS verification code
5Tap "Confirm Registration"

5Device Connection & Activation
5.1 Search for Device
1Make sure the camera is on (slow blue flash)
2Enable Bluetooth on your phone
3Open the app, enter device search page
4Tap "Start Search"
5Find your camera (format: MM-XXXX) and tap "Connect"
💡 Tip: Excessive search frequency triggers system limits. Restart the app and try again if unable to find device.
5.2 First-Time Activation
First connection requires device activation (~10 seconds).
Password rules:
8–16 characters in length
Must include at least 2 types: digits, lowercase, uppercase, special characters
Examples: Aa123456 | password!123 | 1234abcd
⚠ Note: Keep your password secure. Change the default password after first use.
6Network Configuration
Three network modes are available:
6.1 Phone Hotspot (Recommended)
1Enable your phone hotspot
2Select "Connect to Phone Hotspot"
Note:If it is an iPhone hotspot, please go to the phone's hotspot settings interface to remove 's, and then connect again.
3Enter hotspot name and password
4Tap "Connect" (~30 seconds)
⚠ Note: Use alphanumeric hotspot names. Avoid special characters.
6.2 Venue Wi-Fi
1Select "Connect to Wi-Fi"
2Enter Wi-Fi name and password
3Tap "Connect"
6.3 Device Hotspot (AP Mode)
Select "Device Hotspot" — the camera creates its own hotspot. Use when no external network is available.
6.4 Network Status Bar
🔴 Important: When switching to Wi-Fi, disable 4G first. Having both active causes network conflicts.
7Installation & Setup
7.1 Install Quick Release Plate
Attach the quick release plate to the tripod and tighten securely. Uses standard 1/4-20UNC thread, compatible with most tripods.
7.2 Mount Camera
Open the quick release lock
Align camera base with plate and snap in
Close lock — ensure camera is secure
7.3 Adjust Position
